Disneyland - A Wish Come True

For a long time now Memor has wanted to take Nathan and Jason to Disneyland.  She had such a great time with Audrey and Joshua and their parents that she was determined to get the other two there as well.  Memor's wish finally came true as she planned and executed a wonderful trip for us, Auntie Hoot and the Cheeseman family to go to Disneyland!!!  We had to have more than a two to one ratio of adults kids to make it happen.

The Invitation
The suprise trip started with extending an invitation to the guests of honor to go.  They had special invitations with their pictures on them and a special "ears" hat to boot.  Of course we had to have special cookies to each while watching a video about Disneyland.

The Arrival at Disneyland Hotel
The arrival at the Disneyland Hotel started the magical adventure.  Staying there made the trip even more magical and set the tone for the two days to come.

It had been soooo long since Andrea had been to Disneyland that the "Fab Five" gave her an autographed picture and reminded her to come back soon.
We stayed in the hotel on the left, the blue one.  It had just been remodeled and was terrific!

Cool Rooms!!

Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen
We arrived on Sunday evening and had to visit this historic kitchen to make new friends and enjoy a great meal as well.  Everyone had a great time and other than Snow White getting more than she bargined for from Jason it was a smashing success!!

I'm not sure what Snow White said but Jason gave her more than she was expecting!

When our number was called for the group photo, Matt was running an errand to get more diapers and missed it.  He made it back in time for the dinner however.

Matt and Goofy seemed to hit it off.

Wonderful Days in The Magical Kingdon

Are these Jedi Masters protecting the castle or dueling each other?

Who had the drivers license for this thing?

The pools was a nice break on a warm day.  It was a great break from the rides and crowds as well.

It looks like one of the pirates got stranded.  Thx Auntie Hoot for adding to the fun time!!
Dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe was great as well.

Do these two look like they are having fun?  They certainly did!!
The Disney photographer took this picture for us.  A great memory maker.

And the Fun Just Keeps Going On and On

Jason's first driving experience.
The Jedi section was the big hit for the boys.  Nathan was old enough to attend the Jedi Academy and did great in his fight with Darth Vader.

I hope that Nathan is not trying to go to the Dark Side.

This was Jason's first ride and he loved it.  Went on this ride several times.

Truly a Dream Come True -- for both Young and Old(er)
