You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby

With today being Kristin's actual birthday, I felt it was only fair to share a few pictures of her early years.  Happy Birthday again Kristin.

Happy Birthday Kristin -- (Auntie Hoot)

It was a Hooting good time this year with the theme being owls to celebrate Auntie Hoots birthday.  Matt made a batch of his great ribs to go with the salmon, veggies and rice for one terrific meal.

Nathan put on a special command performance magic show for the birthday girl.  Lots of fun !!
Jason put on a music and dance show for the birthday group as well.  Never wants to be outdone by his brother.  Way to go Jason.
Marianne did a great job on the Hoot Cake.  The owl is made of cupcakes and etc.  Very tasty.

The nephews always want to be in on the action -- especially when it is close to the cake, ice cream and etc.

Happy Birthday is always sung in 5 languages -- all of which be probably butcher but it is fun!

Happy Birthday Kristin.  Thx for being such a terrific person.  We love you.

How High Can You Climb ??

Auntie Hoot (Kristin) was kind enough to volunteer to take Nathan to City Beach and teach him to rock climb.  She got a couple of passes so Andrea decided to try climbing as well.  What a great time everyone had.  Thx Auntie Ritz - Hoot - Kristin for the great time and instruction on climbing.

Nathan just learning the basics from Auntie Hoot.

Up, Up and Away.  Nathan actually made it to the top with a little encouragement.  The top is about 35 feet high and from the top it looks like a long way down.

Andrea tried it next and soon had the knack of climbing.  She made it to the top too, of course!

Here is Nathan at the top of the climb.  Yeah Nathan !!

Kristin got a chance to do a little climbing and she makes it look so easy.  She actually is so graceful that it almost looks like a dance she is doing while climbing.  Fun to watch. !!

We found two climbs next to each other that were open so Andrea and Nathan raced each other.  We won't tell who won the race.  I think it depends on who you talk to as well.

Of course Kristin wanted to climb with Nathan as well and they lots of fun.  Thx again Kristin for putting the climb together.  Great memories were made.

Play Ball!! (T-Ball that is)

It is baseball season again and Matt is coaching Nathan's team again this year.  This was the season opener and they are the A's this year.  Go A's !!!

Nathan is a pretty good hitter at this point.  He biggest problem is deciding whether to hit right handed or left handed.  His initial grip is left handed but he is trying right handed this year.

For some reason Nathan likes to slide and practices every time he comes home.  Here he is doing the dive for home plate.  Maybe he just wants to get the uniform dirty??

Jason was feeling left out so he grabbed a ball and practiced sliding on the grass until his baseball pants were good and dirty.  He had some very nice grass stains.
